JOIN IN ON THE FUN

We are looking for energetic volunteers to help support our runners for 9/18/21. If you'd like to help out, please sign up. It's a great way for students to earn community service hours.
VOLUNTEER

For the 9/18/2021 Half Marathon & 10k, the Half Marathon is a USATF Certified course. Water and snacks will be available along the course at numerous aid stations.  Food and drinks will be available to participants at the finish line.  The entire course is paved and handicapped welcoming.  The Foundation will not issue refunds for registrations made online, by mail or on race weekend. Please note: no dogs, strollers, bikes, or rollerblades are allowed in the race. Online registration will be opening soon with eventual packet pick up located at Riverside Hospital Urgent Care in Frankfort. Parking is ample in the downtown area of Frankfort near Breidert Green off of White street or at Oak and Elwood streets. Safety is vital so weather conditions will be monitored. The event will not begin if lightning has been sighted/observed/confirmed within 6 miles of any part of the race site or course within 30 minutes of the start time OR if it is highly probable that lightning will strike within this range during the event. ​All participants will receive a race shirt available in sizes S, M, L, XL, XXL.  An event medal,  an official race packet, swag bag, snacks and beverages will be provided. 
​Additional awards will be provided to both the top overall male & female winners by categories.   Age group categories will be scored by chip time. Age group winners will also be determined by chip time. Awards will be available at the awards table and must be picked up there. Gear check is a secure area at the Breidert Green building. Finishers can claim their gear there. Race participation with wheelchairs or hand cranks will be allowed with a separate start. This race is committed to following the best standards that will ensure a quality, safe and operationally sound race. Please contact the Foundation at 815-462-2976  if any questions. The mission of the Foundation is to creatively generate financial support with which to enrich and enhance the opportunities and educational experiences of Lincoln-Way High School District 210 students.

Since its inception in 1994, volunteer Foundation directors have embraced this mission and our community has responded with unparalleled generosity. As a result, the Lincoln-Way High School District 210 Foundation has awarded over $4.6million to benefit the students and educational programs of the District.
